Questa foto è la prova che qualche volta gli sforzi vengono premiati. Raggiungo Nugget Point e trovo già un paio di fotografi pronti per il tramonto. Dopo una ventina di minuti inizia a piovere e gli altri due ragazzi decidono di andarsene sconsolati, io no. Copro lo zaino e la reflex con un poncho e decido di rimanere sotto la pioggia. Sono bagnato e fa freddo, la temperatura è probabilmente attorno ai 5 gradi ma sento che il cielo si aprirà. E così fù. Una lama di luce sopra il faro fa da sipario ad un accenno di arcobaleno. Sono solo in un posto super turistico. Decido di scattare giusto un paio di foto e godermi il momento.
