Thomas is, are passed to Nikon last March, it was something that genuinely first planned for a long time even though I was never able to find the courage to do: -D
I am very well to be honest; overcome the existential crisis of losing the 24L II (my absolute favorite optical), and after a first initial phase of acclimatization with the colors Nikon (which basically are a bit 'less bright Canon when you import the RAW Lightroom) I began to take seriously taste.

It considers that 99% of my shots are all individual exposures: hate like the plague manual blending, HDR and mergersdifferent; all very valid techniques for charity, but that still require a considerable amount of time to devote to the post production.
The purpose of the passage resided primarily in order to benefit from a wider dynamic range that would allow me to work with "my style" and my "how to draw" the shots in Lightroom without too many worries.

Well with the D810 I found a little 'peace of mind, and because in many situations I find myself not having to even use the filters on the plate of the LEE (I told you many not all: -D) and because actually in post production you are free to work in peace without worrying about excessive noise or banding in the shadows (believe me process the file is clicked to ISO64 veramentand a joy to behold ;-)).
Another thing that I am appreciating the steps are a lot of tonal colors D810: the nuances are very homogeneous, meaning that even exaggerating colors on the end result is always nice and natural without "jaggies color".

I repeat, for the moment I am very satisfied, because in all honesty I would never, ever thrown on 5Ds it nor on 5DsR. Curious to see what will bring out with the Canon 5D Mark IV and Mark II 6D ... meanwhile shot and I enjoy the great ;-)
