Le rocce vengono spesso utilizzate dai felini come punto di osservazione ed essendo le più esposte al vento anche per trovare sollievo dall' assedio delle mosche........ ...........................................COMPAGNI DI VIAGGIO non vedo l' ora di tornare per l' ennesima volta in Tanzania a Marzo 2016. In realtà si trattava di un bel maschio: in forma e con la pancia piena... ;-)

Dopo aver attraversato un ampio tratto di savana con il fratello secondo me erano andati sul Kopjes nella speranza di trovare una pozza d' acqua piovana con cui dissetarsi..
Ho scelto il B perchè mi piace il contrasto tra il leone illuminato dal sole, la nuvola bianca ed il cielo e le rocce più scure; anche a colori non è male perchè il cielo è di un bel blu ma almeno per i miei gusti, è perfetta per il bn.... ;-)

Actually it was a beautiful male: fit and with a full stomach ... ;-)
After crossing a large stretch of savannah with his brother I had gone on in my Kopjes in hopes of finding a pool of 'rainwater which drink ..
I chose B because I like the contrast between the lion sunlit, white cloud and the sky and the rocks darker; Color also is not bad because the sky is a beautiful blue, but at least for my taste, is perfect for bn .... ;-)

Il paragone è molto, anzi troppo, impegnativo ma quel libro mi ha lasciato il segno soprattutto per alcune immagini di wildlife che secondo me non avrebbero avuto senso a colori e che invece in BN sono così potenti che mi fanno pensare che Salgado in realtà veda e pensi direttamente in bianco e nero!! Cool
