Ogni tanto capita il bisogno di tornare a vedersi le vecchie foto, complice la nostalgia di viaggi fatti anni prima, di profumi lontani o di sensazioni. Oggi ho passato la giornata a riguardarmi le foto degli anni passati, e per caso mi è tornato alla mente quel monaco bambino che avevo fotografato a Bodh Gaya. Con la sua espressione un po' bonaria e un po' "birichina", è una foto che porto nel cuore. I monaci anziani andavano avanti a pregare e a meditare sotto l'albero dove il Buddha raggiunse l'illuminazione: ma come puoi chiedere a un bambino di stare fermo così tanto? Da questo nasce questa espressione buffa e meravigliosa. Spero piaccia anche a voi.
