Ciao Giuseppe, riguardo l'identificazione sono molto sicuro, colorazione e forme dei disegni alari sono molto caratteristici. Premesso questo, la sp. che ti ho indicato è vero che è molto comune in Nord America, ma ci sono segnalazioni anche in Sud America e precisamente in Colombia e Venezuela, e solo una in Brasile (Sao Paulo: Faz. Sta. Elisa, Campinas, Monjolinho) loc. che non è lontanissima dal Mato Grosso, segnalata dalla Yale University Peabody Museum. Diciamo quindi, che nella regione dove l'hai vista non è sicuramente frequente incontrarla, ma il fatto che in quella zona non sia mai stata segnalata non significa che non ci possa essere, considerando anche la vastità dell'area in questione.
