Lovely image that has that special glow about that time of day in autumn. If I've a criticism is that the tree has had too much work on it and it looks a bit threadbare and the colour's changed (slightly) too. Thanks for all your comments - just come in from gig shots using the new lens and having to reheat some spag bol as I'm starving! Will be back with you shortly! |

Sunrise or sunset two moments that give us unforgettable moments. Actually the whole gallery Dawn is very nice compliments. Hello Victor Alba o tramonto due momenti che ci regalano momenti indimenticabili. A dire il vero tutta la galleria Dawn è molto bella complimenti. Ciao Vittorio |

Thanks for your comment, Tim - I'm not sure about the tree - it is actually as taken! The colours have been altered, though, and I was undecided how much of an improvement it was! I look forward to seeing what you've posted from your evening! |

many thanks for your comment, Victor! I agree about sunrise and sunset - my two favourite times of day! |

The part towards the right side of the tree, esp against the dark background looks as if it had been selectively lightened, which of course, will change not just the density but the colour too - one of the many "joys" of advanced Photoshop editing! I take your for it, naturally, I can only go by what I see, as is the case for all of us! Just downloading, know I have some cool sax player shots that could look cool in black and white |

I see what you mean but, in fact, all that I've done to this image is a slight crop and some colour adjustment to the whole image. The sax is a great instrument - to listen to but also a great shape to photograph! |

The fact that its reflection looks wonderful and natural also hints at my theory, and I knew that you were starting to try out new things in Lightroom etc, so you "could" have tried doing what I accused you of! Live music is a difficult genre, especiacially whenyou've not done it for a while, so many had to be deleted, mostly due to subject movement and manual focussing errors - AF is beyond useless. So, it could be tomorrow now. |

Indeed! :)) |

Those would be difficult conditions to photograph in so it is inevitable that there will be those you reject. I hope you find some you are pleased with! |

Indeed, which bit?!? |

Indeed I could have tried doing what you accused me of! :)) Didn't you edit your comment to include the second bit afterwards or did I just miss it on first read? |

No, it was that usual me ending on a comma, so I edited it to have a full stop instead. Tired now, not going to bother too much about editing a music shot right now. Good night. |
