Grazie per i passaggi ed i commenti...anch'io da sempre sognavo, vedendo le foto del "pescatore"...così mi sono documentato...siccome tornavo in Florida per la 4° volta nella mia vita (la prima però con "interesse fotografico"...), ho deciso di andare a colpo sicuro. C'è un lago, che si chiama appunto Blue Cypress Lake, in cui nidificano ca. 200 coppie di falchi...e fino a qui tutto sembra semplice...in realtà, occorre avere una barca o noleggiarla. Io mi sono informato presso alcuni locali ed ho prenotato un giro con guida, alla mattina presto (ca. 100 € per 2 ore di giro). Solitamente all'alba i pescatori sfrecciano in cielo con le loro prede per alimentare i piccoli nei nidi...i nidi sono in un breve tratto di sponda (ripeto, raggiungibile solo con le barche...non azzardatevi a tentare altro perchè ci sono gli alligatori in giro, anche loro...eh...eh...pronti per la colazione!!!) esposto ad est: quindi i nidi e gli alberi sono in luce perfetta, mentre i falchi in volo in contro luce...non si può avere tutto!!! Inoltre, siccome posso definirmi bravo nell'organizzarmi i tour puntando ad ottenere il massimo dai miei interessi nel poco tempo a disposizione, ma non tanto fortunato perchè perseguitato dal "lato oscuro di Murphy", mi è stato detto che nella giornata in cui sono andato io non c'era molta attività a causa di un improvviso abbassamento della temperatura notturna! Amen. E' stata un'esperienza unica perchè sono animali assolutamente magnifici ed interessanti...
Nei giorni successivi, mi hanno pure raccontato di aver visto un falco morire perchè trascinato sott'acqua dal pesce nel quale gli artigli, evidentemente, erano penetrati troppo in profondità...in pratica: pesce troppo pesante e falco troppo incastrato!!! Sarebbe stata una scena fantastica...dite che mi devo organizzare con equipaggiamento subacqueo per il prossimo giro?

I always dreamed of seeing the pictures of "fisherman" ... so I documented ... since I came back to Florida for the 4th time in my life (the first, however, with "photographic interest" ...), I decided to go without fail. There is a lake that is called Blue Cypress Lake, where they nest approx. 200 pairs of hawks ... and thus far everything seems simple ... in fact, you need a boat or rent one. I am informed by some locals and I booked a tour with a guide in the early morning (about 100 € for 2 hours ride). Usually at dawn fishermen whizzing in the sky with their prey to feed the young in the nest ... the nests are in a short stretch of shore (again, reachable only by boat ... I do not dare to groped another because there are alligators around, too ... eh ... eh ... ready for the complimentary buffet breakfastone!) facing east: then the nests and the trees are in perfect light, while the hawks in flight against the light ... you can not have everything! Also, since I can call good nell'organizzarmi tour aiming to make the most of my interest in the limited time available, but not so lucky because persecuted by the "dark side of Murphy," I was told that on the day that I went I did not have much activity due to a sudden drop in temperature during the night! Amen. It 'was a unique experience because animals are absolutely beautiful and interesting ...
In the following days, I have also reported seeing a hawk die because dragged under the water by the fish in which the claws, of course, had penetrated too deeply ... in practice: fish hawk too heavy and too stuck! It would have been a great scene ... I have to say that organize diving equipment for the next round?
