In poco più di 5 mesi ho percorso (quasi) tutta l'Africa da Cairo a Cape Town in treno, bus e autostop con zaino in spalla e dormendo in tenda.
Ho avuto modo di vivere l'Africa per davvero, oltre 12 mila km on the road attraversando Egitto, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana e Sud Africa.
E la verità è che, quando ripenso a quel viaggio, penso sempre e solo alla "perla dell'Africa": l'Uganda.
Fiumi, laghi, foreste verdissime, vulcani, terra rossa, profumi, sguardi, colori, cibo, albe, tramonti, panorami, cordialità,
umiltà, rispetto e tanti sorrisi.
Per non parlare poi della biodiversità, unica al mondo!
Parole ed immagini comunque, come sempre, non sono sufficienti a raccontare un pezzo di terra così speciale.

In just over five months I have traveled (almost) all over Africa from Cairo to Cape Town by train, bus and hitchhiking with backpack and sleeping in tents.
I got to experience Africa for real, over 12,000 kilometers on the road through Egypt, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana and South Africa.
And the truth is that when I look back on that trip, I always just the "pearl of Africa": Uganda.
Rivers, lakes, lush green forests, volcanoes, clay, smells, looks, colors, food, sunrises, sunsets, views, friendliness,
humility, respect and many smiles.
To say nothing of biodiversity, unique in the world!
Words and images though, as always, are not sufficiento tell you a piece of land so special.
