These beautiful eyes and their interaction with those snaps.
The composition is different from your usual .. In the third center but right on the vertical ... The chiaroscuro shifts weight to the right
I really like .. Personally I would cut and consists of a square
Leveraging the diagonal light of the right shoulder going up on the face but I have to say it really is remarkable even so.
Congratulations as usual Sergio

Hello Ale, is always a pleasure to read you: the talent of a photographer can be seen also on its ability to analyze an image with great precision, as in your case (that's why I'm just an amateur, to me will not succeed never to make a 'timely analysis as you do you :-().
The cut respects the original shot, vertically; I only accentuated a bit 'more "weight" to the right side (for the viewer) to leave more "space" to his eyes, face much to me that I was on his right, then left for the viewer. You're probably right about the square cut, but to be honest I have used in very limited circumstances because I can never make me pleasure all the way .. We say that it is my idiosyncrasy, a bit 'like for Juventus:-P ;-)

Best wishes to you Ale, and again a sincere thank you for your appreciation and for your appreciation.

Hello Sergio, I too find this beautiful picture "different" ... perhaps the intense side light, perhaps the particular cut ... some that look does not go unnoticed, I feel scrutinized in the soul, her face is serious, the His bright eyes, his judgment is stern but also resigned ... I can hardly bear to look, it seems to me to point out a consciousness of guilt ... I feel responsible for that look that should not belong to any child in the world! A hug and thanks for your incredible ability to see beyond ....

Hello Francesca, and first of all thanks to you, once again, for your valuable comments, which besides being extremely gratficanti for me are always too full of ideas, which lead me to reflect on some aspects of the photo that sometimes risk neglecting to have had her in the eyes for days.

that look does not go unnoticed, I feel scrutinized in the soul, her face is serious, his eyes bright, his judgment is stern but also resigned
Indeed, the eyes of this child leaves a bit 'puzzled: it feels scrutinized in depth, as you say, and maybe you can read a note of severity. Certainly they are the reasons that have caught my eye on her.
I took this picture in a school in a remote and isolated village fmong the mountains of northern Vietnam. But to say the school may be misleading: in reality it was a hut rather dark, being the only source of light a door and a window open, with small pupils sat on the floor, listening to a teacher rather listless and slightly "strained" to my intrusion .. Maybe this little girl, as the teacher, was "scolding" with the look for my interruption, but I still was not able to completely hide, on its face, the signs of curiosity and surprise at seeing a Western in his small classroom.

Heartfelt thanks to you Francesca for the respect that I renew to each photo, and a warm greeting also my part.

Eyes as you read so much "sweetness" but, perhaps, also a lot of sadness ...!
Beautiful image that makes a lot ... think! :-P
Congratulations and greetings, :-)

Once again thank Paul for having expressed your thoughts on this release and of course for your generous compliments.
I'm pretty sad eyes of this child, but I think it's what strikes us particularly (to you as to me): we Westerners are not accustomed to seize these looks in children because our children hardly ever have reason to express seriousness or sadness. But here we are in another world (and not only in a geographical sense), here the children learn early to understand that life is hard and that life often lead to suffering. It 'a hard lesson but leads these children to mature early, and this awareness is clearly reflected in their eyes.

Thanks again Paul for your kind visit and a cordial greeting to you.
