Genuinely, this is what Mars actually looks like. Red weed as vegetation, set in a constant mist. Genuinely weird and a bit scary...

OK, you don't believe me? Here it is. Colours have not been changed or altered, just a little more saturation to bring it forward a bit more, a field on that recent foggy morning we had in south of England.

Thank you Ann, I really liked those gentle undulations too and that we can only just see them, which is why I went for this image, out of the many I took (I knew I'd never likely to confront such conditions again)
