Prova a illuminare male e vedere cosa succede.

Ciao
Gian Luca

Daniel let me comment.
Known a remarkable job of research in your portraits / beauty, careful study of the lights, looking for poses and subjects. If I can but 'everything and' always statito, quite forced. You're always trying to light the entire subject and portray him completely.
You've no doubt a good technique, then I would recommend you distorting it. Try to illuminate evil and see what happens. To make a cut narrow, or wrong and see what comes out. The light bulb is good for photos of the catalog, but not if you want to give a signature to the photo. I have a feeling that your photos would gain in dynamism '
I also have the feeling that you do not use models / pro and I'm a little 'also linked them in expressions. A little tip and 'use the mirror. If you put it behind a mirror in which the model you can 'watch and judge for themselves its expression, will be' much more 'diverse and more' safe interpretations. In general, then you have to remind her to look in the car, especially those a little 'hedonistic, but it serves to reassure them and make them dare molto more '.

I hope that these lines are useful to you.

Gian Luca thank you very much for your comment and your valuable advice, I'll treasure. As you guessed, the models are not professionals, and more often than not I try to experiment with their new techniques, so I stop to tried and tested layouts.
Zanico thanks to you for the ride.

Daniele believe me test the mirror, turns them 'cause they do not feel more' "judged" by the photographer, and do not focus more 'on you, and on target, but on them. At this point you can ask what you're looking for and just move. They will let you much more 'free to play around with the lights.

I also tend to fall into this 'mistake'. tips helpful but quite another to put them into practice .. especially if it remains only for the weekend to photograph! : (
