Sold today for charity, these 'Barons' have been made and painted to celebrate the 800th Anniversary of the Magna Carta, of which Salisbury Cathedral holds one of four copies in England. These were decorated to feature many topics, from spacemen (4th along to the right) to ancient folklore and were on display throughout Salisbury for much of the spring and summer.

Thank you Ann - they were already lined up in the cathedral close but there were lots of people taking selfies hence the limited depth of field chosen. I was hoping that you saw this one!

You knew I'd appreciate it? I guess you pretty much know what I am likely to like by now :))
