Questa marmotta non ha battuto ciglio al nostro seppur cauto avvicinamento. Con brevi fughe tornava nella tana e usciva di nuovo allo scoperto. Soltanto una volta giunti a pochi metri abbiamo capito il perchè; i rumori e i versi che provenivano dal buio della terra erano quelli di nuove vite da proteggere.
