Bombed in World War 2, these ruins are under guardianship of English Heritage and staffed by volunteers, with free admittance, but only open to visit in the summer months. Last Saturday, when I visited was the last of this current year.

Place that puts chills .... to Alfred Hitchcock.
Other than that very nice shot made attractive by the B / N.

This I like a great deal, Tim! The light falling on the church and the shadows from the gate and grill are amazing! Very much the kind of place I would enjoy visiting!

Suggestive scenes with dramatic light and forceful b / w. I like the crisp shadows of the gate very much. Really a great picture. Congratulations. Bye.

Thank you Ann. In fact, the chancel is complete and was beautiful the day I was there, I will post an image up on here at a later date of it. It is well worth spending 30 mins at, it's just between Old Portsmouth and Southsea, by the sea walls.

Thank you too Clara - it was the inclusion of the fence's shadow that made me choose this image to edit.
