Nei giorni precedenti eravamo già passati diverse volte da questo Kopjes dove so che c'è un branco di leoni che vedo tutti gli anni ed avevamo visto ogni volta i leoni con dei cuccioli di 7/8 mesi... Al terzo giorno mi sono accorto che, in una cavità tra due massi e quando ne è uscita, si sono affacciati questi due frugoletti che forse per la prima volta si affacciavano per vedere il mondo circostante.... L' atteso arrivo di " El Ni�o " dovrebbe portare condizioni climatiche estreme ed imprevedibili con la possibilità precipitazioni abbondantissime o al contrario di siccità... Se sarà come nel 1998, le precipitazioni saranno abbondanti per cui ci ritroveremo con erba verdissima..... inoltre, visto che in diversi branchi ci sono cuccioli di più di un anno è probabile aspettarsi la presenza di parecchi leoncini tenendo anche conto che a Ndutu sono arrivati due nuovi leoni dominanti che hanno fatto piazza pulita dei piccoli nati l' anno precedente....
