Personalmente avrei decentrato un po' o al limite provato un'inquadratura verticale.

Probabilmente è dovuto al ridimensionamento automatico del sito.
Dovresti provare prima a caricare la foto a 1200px sul lato lungo e successivamente aggiungere quella in hd

Probably due to the automatic resizing of the site.
