Il seggiolame del coro, in legno di noce, è un'eccellente manifestazione dell'arte rinascimentale.Visto il seggiolame di San Benito di Valladolid si fece venire il Maestro Cornelis de Holanda affinché cercasse persino di superarlo. I lavori cominciarono nel 1536 e venne completato 10 anni più tardi. Lavorarono alle sculture gli artisti Juan Rodriguez, Lucas Giraldo e Isidro Villoldo. Nelle spalliere del seggiolame, fatto a due piani, si rappresentano scene dei santi e dei personaggi dell'Antico Testamento, tuttavia sono i grotteschi e gli intarsi la parte più artistica dell'opera,
