Personalmente mi duole un po' quell'occhio fuori fuoco. In casi come questo (compleanni di figli...in luce ambiente) preferisco tenere un'inquadratura frontale per avere lo sguardo a fuoco.
Concordo sulla bella sensazione che dà il viso uscendo dal buio.

Personally I regret a little 'that eye out of focus. In cases like this (birthdays of children ... in ambient light) I prefer to hold a shot front to have his eyes in focus.

A mia discolpa posso solo dire che l'unica luce era quella delle candele, ma più che altro nonno sai com'è... Un paio che ti picchiano dentro, uno che piange per la luce spenta ecc... La fretta brutta cosa.
