Se volevi mettere in evidenza il filo in primo piano ci sei riuscito, mentre se volevi evidenziare la cruna dell'ago penso che la maf sia anticipata, se volevi ambo le cose era necessario chiudere maggiormente.
If you wanted to bring out the wire in the foreground you did, and if you wanted to highlight the eye of the needle I think maf is anticipated, if you wanted both things you had to close more. Personalmente trovo ottima la messa a fuoco selettiva, bellissimo il contrasto cromatico, perfetto esempio di come sapendo guardarsi attorno si ottengono ottimi risultati da soggetti all'apparenza banali. Complimenti!

Ottima la scelta delle cromie.
Se questo voleva essere uno still life ragionato, io allora avrei preso un ago nuovo (superficie più liscia e uniforme) pulito a fondo, e provato un illuminazione con un pannello più grande. Inoltre io l'avrei messo proprio sul terzo, l'ago.
Se invece voleva essere uno scatto più 'spontaneo', allora direi che va bene così.

If this would be a still life reasoned, then I would have taken a new needle (smoother surface and uniform) clean thoroughly, and tried a light with a larger panel. Also I would have put it right on the third, the needle.
If you want to be a shot more 'spontaneous', then I would say it's okay. Ottima la scelta delle cromie.

Grazie Peter, è una via di mezzo...tra spontaneità e ragionamento. In ffetti ho fatto delle prove con un RI minore, e l'ago era collocato lungo la linea verticale del primo terzo, poi tanto che c'ero ho provato un ingrandimento maggiore e questo è il risultato. Oltre all'ago "vintage" anche la messa a fuoco non è perfetta, come ha rilevato nel primo commento Pigi47. Sto auto-costruendo un "accrocchio" che mi consentirà una più precisa e controllata messa a fuoco.

Thanks Peter, is a middle ... between spontaneity and reasoning. In FFECTS I did some tests with a lower RI, and the needle was placed along the vertical line of the first third, then as I was there I tried a higher magnification, and this is the result. In addition to the needle "vintage" also the focus is not perfect, as noted in the first comment Pigi47. I'm self-building a "crock" I will allow a more precise and controlled focus.
