" . penso che la popolazione sarda sia sottostimata per la particolare diffidenza ed elusività della specie ! solo nel periodo degli amori infatti i maschi emettono ,per richiamare le femmine, una breve pernacchia udibile a centinaia e centinaia di metri che permette di individuarne perlomeno il numero.E' comunque in atto un censimento ma penso che la stima ,prudente, possa aggirarsi intorno almeno ai duemila esemplari.
