Il Codone Guancebianche (Anas Bahamensis, White-cheeked Pintail) è un'anatra di medie dimensioni con guance e gola bianche ed il resto del piumaggio marrone chiaro con chiazze marrone scuro; il becco è grigio-azzurro con due chiazze rosse attorno alle narici. È originario delle Grandi e Piccole Antille; è diffuso anche nelle regioni settentrionali del Sudamerica e, in misura minore, nel Sud della Florida.
