Dog Green è il settore più occidentale della spiaggia di Omaha il luogo dove sbarcarono intorno alle 07am i Rangers americani che in realtà erano stati preceduti un ora prima dai genieri e dai carri armati. Ma le condizioni atmosferiche avverse ed il fuoco tedesco fecero si che in determinati punti del settore Dog i genieri e carri armati non fossero mai arrivati e questo espose i Rangers a gravissime perdite.
