Quelli ripresi nella foto sono due RINOCERONTI NERI (Diceros bicornis Subspecies: minor), una delle specie sulla terra a più alto rischio di estinzione. (o per essere più precisi già parzialmente estinta). Allego qualche numero per far capire la gravità della situazione: - Nei primi anni del 1900 i rinoceronti neri erano CENTINAIA DI MIGLIAIA. - A causa del bracconaggio, nella metà degli anni '90 il loro numero è calato fino a 2400 esemplari nel mondo intero. - Oggi, grazie a severi programmi di tutela la popolazione il loro numero è risalito a 5050. cinquemila e cinquanta!
