Bravo Patrick, the place would be enough and the contrast between areas of light and shadow to evaluate it as a good shot, the boat that comes through the reflection makes it even romantic. Ciao Claudio |

Thank you very much Claudio. :-)
This scene is very rare, only this time I have had the chance to see a boat in the moat of the Castello Estense, the monument that is the emblem of Ferrara in the world.
A pretty surreal scene that brought me back immediately thought to metaphysical painting by Giorgio de Chirico and his famous painting "The disquieting muse", where the background appears this castle.
Hello
Patrician Ti ringrazio molto Claudio. Ciao Patrizio |

Thank you very much Sergio, I would say that was a unique situation, at least for me, yet the center of Ferrara is a place that I know well and I attend to photograph.
Hello! :-P
Ciao! Patrizio |

Thank you Palborgg, the trim at the top was one of the aspects that had been evaluated during the composition and on which I had some uncertainty and then choose to leave that small part of the roof of the Palazzo del Monte di Pieta, a work of fine Agapito Poggi 1756 -1761 from which the straight part of Corso Ercole I d'Este, those 1300 meters of the addition Herculean so important to the history of the city.
I do not have proceeded in that way to give depth, and they see the end of the facade of the palace even in a small part and unimportant.
Your advice is right to give greater strength and visual image is a valid alternative possibility and I thank you especially for having a good look at the photograph.
Hello
Patrician
Ciao Patrizio |
