Foresta di Lokobe Madagascar, simili ai colibrì (pochi centimetri in pochi grammi di peso), ma non facile da riprendere in libertà e con il fotografo a vista, si posa per pochi secondi e via. Il maschio, qui ritratto ha colori sgargianti al contrario della femmina che è più anonima. Solitamente in coppia, la femmina era poco distante, si nutrono di piccoli insetti e più spesso di nettare.

Bella foto....a costo di essere pedante, i colibrì sono Apodiformi (come i rondoni), niente parenti delle nettarinie, solo convergenza evolutiva...però è vero Stefano, ci somigliano proprio Sorriso
