Una foto dell'Islanda forse un po' fuori dagli schemi, ma che rappresenta i contrasti di questa strana terra. E' facile trovare ruderi e carcasse abbandonate, persi nel silenzio, tra la sabbia nera, tra i campi scuri di lava, emblema e simbolo del "deserto" e della "solitudine" Questo è un Douglas Super DC-3 della US Navy che fu costretto nel lontano 24 novembre 1973 ad un atterraggio di emergenza sulla sperduta spiaggia di Sólheimasandur nell'Islanda sud occidentale. Tutto l'equipaggio sopravvisse all'impatto e riuscì a mettersi in salvo, ma l'aereo venne abbandonato sul posto e mai rimosso. Lo abbiamo cercato, seguendo le indicazioni su internet, alla fine un minuscolo cartello che indica una sorta di strada, se così si può chiamare, strada appena accennata che taglia una spiaggia immensa di sassi, in mezzo al nulla

Grazie mille Kernerit, Giovanni e Editore degli apprezzamenti.
@ Giovanni, ho pensato anche a un HDR ( da singolo scatto, quindi più che altro tone mapping), così come ero tentata anche da un B/N drammatico, alla fine ho preferito lavorare in LR su contrasto e chiarezza. Il risultato non mi è dispiaciuto e quindi non ho optato per soluzioni più spinte.

@ John, I also thought of a HDR (by single click, then mostly tone mapping), as I was also tempted by a B / N dramatic, in the end I preferred to work in LR on contrast and clarity. The result I am not sorry and so I opted for solutions driven.
