Girovagavo per le vie di Trinidad, quando ad un certo punto sono stato attratto da una casa con una scalinata avvolgente e muri disallineati. Mi sono preparato per scattare una fotografia ma proprio in quell'istante un abitate locale, con tutta disinvoltura, scavalca e oltrepassa ringhiere e balconi di diverse abitazioni, come fosse una strada pubblica. A mio avviso questo immenso colpo fortuna ha impreziosito, e non di poco, questo scatto, che rappresenta un pò il loro modo di vivere.
