Il Parco bavarese è un posto molto frequentatio dai fotografi perchè si possono riprendere i grossi mammiferi (orsi, lupi, linci, cervi, alci, cinghiali etc...) in condizioni di libertà simulata. Sono tutti ben protetti in recinti piuttosto grandi dove hanno anche zone al riparo dagli occhi dei visitatori, ma spesso si avvicinano ai bordi dei recinti permettendoti scatti quasi impossibili in natura.
