With Old Harry Rocks. Less dramatic than is usual for me, but I wanted a more watercolour painting feel, more gentle and serene. I did up the reds a little to make the pink heather stand out more. #Seascape

Ah, yes - a sight I know and love :) Nice clear view of Old Harry. The scene has a comfortable 'feel good' quality to it - possibly partly because of its familiarity, although I've never walked back into the heathers like that, but also the way you've composed the shot and the soothing colour of the heather.

Thank you Ann, but you did not like it enough to "like" it?

Oops! Oversight! Sorry - done now! :)

Thank you! Perhaps the reason that the image seems comfortable is because it has the classical 'painting' composition, which is natural and unobtrusive. As in my text, I went for gentler colours too than might be my norm. And yes, I am right back up on the ridge, but in front of the official heather 'walkway' and as you know, walking amongst undulating heather is not the most comfortable or easiest thing to do. But if you're after a nice photo, then you'll do (almost) anything, after all.
