Nello Yosemite National park è possibile ammirare delle incredibili sequoie giganti, la cui età può giungere fino a 2500/2700 anni. Il tronco della sequoia nella foto è stato abbattuto in gran parte da una tempesta, oggi rimane solo la base del gigante, talmente ampia da consentire il passaggio di una macchina!!!
