Saprai che a Ridanna gli impianti sono perfettamente funzionanti (li mettono in funzione per i visitatori), ma la miniera è stata chiusa nel 1979. Si estraeva argento, zinco, piombo e cadmio.
Bello scoprire la storia, la vita dei minatori, e il cambiamento di questa nel tempo. Si fa un tour semplice di 1h circa in 200 m di gallerie arredate con manichini e macchinari funzionanti più vecchi e più nuovi; c'è anche un tour di 7 orde circa nelle miniere e all'esterno.
A Monte Loreto cosa si estrae?
You will know that in Ridanna systems are fully functional (put them into operation for visitors), but the mine was closed in 1979. It mined silver, zinc, lead and cadmium.

Monte Loreto è una miniera di rame (ma per un periodo si è estratto anche oro).
Il sito è importantissimo dal punto di vista archeologico essendo la miniera di rame più antica di tutta l'Europa Occidentale, con lavorazioni che risalgono al 3600 a.c.
Anche noi facciamo una visita guidata di circa 1h 30 dove si ripercorre tutta la storia della miniera per finire con l'entrata in una delle gallerie ottocentesche.
