Il Pancratium Maritiumum o giglio di mare è una pianta spontanea della famiglia delle Amarillydacae,bellissima e protetta dona un fascino particolare alle spiagge non devastate dalle costruzioni.In genere fiorisce nelle dune sabbiose a ridosso di tomboleti con macchia mediterranea. L'esemplare in questione l'ho ripreso nella marina maremmana laziale,fiorisce da giugno a fine agosto,non così copioso come quest'anno.
