I recognise this place! It's just up the road to me. I like the angle and don't mind the colour, I feel it looks oversharpened myself, which makes the stone's texture look rather harsh and unattractive. But that's just how I see it and you must always do what you like - it's your photo, after all. |

Ciao , grazie del passaggio e dell'apprezzamento ; sulla saturazione hai ragione , ma io ho sempre in mente la resa della Kodachrome e della Ektachrome e cerco di ricrearla sul digitale ( in realtà non agisco sulla saturazione , ma solo su luci , ombre , luminosità e contrasto ) . Hello, thanks and appreciation of the passage; on saturation you're right, but I always think of the surrender of Kodachrome and Ektachrome and try to recreate it on the digital (not really act on saturation, but only on light, shadows, brightness and contrast). Stonehenge non lascia indifferenti ... ci sono stato una prima volta nel 1983 , arrivandoci in moto , al tramonto : non c'era nessuno , si poteva girovagare a piacimento , sedersi sull'erba tra i monoliti , percependo un' atmosfera unica ; ci sono poi tornato una seconda volta 30 anni dopo , trovando che tutto era cambiato : coda chilometrica con un accesso di pochi minuti , in fila , a debita distanza dal monumento .
