Forse io taglierei la parte alta reimpaginando la foto in un formato panoramico con l'orizzonte al centro e simmetria tra sopra e sotto (soluzione piuttosto canonica in presenza di specchi d'acqua). In questo modo penso che non si sentirebbe la mancanza di un elemento in primo piano.
Parere personale... ovviamente.
