Stiamo sempre riscoprendo le meraviglie del museo di Arti Decorative Pietro Accorsi. E' questa la camera in cui Accorsi raccolse gli oggetti a lui più cari. Tra questi un dipinto del famoso pittore François Boucher e un raro letto rivestito di damasco di seta verde con un delicato decoro floreale rosa cipria. Sopra la testiera del letto una reliquia. Decorano poi la camera una dormeuse di seta rosa, usata di norma dal gatto di Accorsi; altri cristalli Baccarat disposti sul tavolinetto, due stipi di Piffetti e, dal soffitto, pende una gabbietta con due uccellini meccanici i quali, girando il cordone, attivavano un carillon. Pietro Accorsi il più grande antiquario italiano del '900: "il re degli antiquari, l'antiquario dei re"; nel secondo dopoguerra, Accorsi riordinò l'arredamento del Quirinale durante il settennato di Luigi Einaudi.
