, Posa B f/4.5, ISO 800, tripod.

Luke, you're on your way: compared to the other this is definitely the best. If I can advise you, I suggest at this point a few poses much longer ... but we say that with 70mm and if the tracker stations well placed right on the bubble, you'll go even 8 minutes for each frame, then you can very well 5 frames 8 minutes each for a total of 40 minutes .. you know that signal you collect? if we add too dark 6, 6 and a flat 15 of bias, you can remove a lot of noise. If you are anchored in DSS + PS I suggest you pay attention to the PP, in this picture there is too dominant cyan, forgive me if I repeat myself, but I see that you have within you the monkey passion that wants to let off steam: -D: -D Greetings ;-)

Thank you very much Beppe, for the advice ... You're right there 'monkey passion you are referring to, but maybe I need better tools. A filter that I fight light pollution, perhaps ... a goal a little more 'performance ... a machine with the right filter to catch the red nebulae ... and as you say a pp more' valid before or later I have to give DSS, since I have tried all possible settings, but the program has limitations. I will follow 'your advice, he poses far more' long ... Hello and thank Beppe

For the conversion, you can make changes Baader also Nikon, for I believe that the filters Hutech face the Idas LPS2 for Nikon, with those you are set. Regarding the lens well, because we all go hand you do not need servo, so the old Nikon lenses bayonet they're fine, to put a limit on used adapter and you can find everything for a few euro, and that's what I want to do well I with Canon FD lenses look for analog 300mm f / 2.8 ... I've seen on ebay for 150 euro as new, for EF must expend at least 3500 euro wow! wow!
Regarding the PP, must be convinced to buy PI ... it is what I will do then I also, unfortunately I have to deal with the budget of a pensioner, so a little at a time by parsimonie, otherwise always missing 1 lira to make 100 pounds ... by that the next you make will be mEglio of these, I am sure! Hi Luca ;-)

Oh yes dear Beppe in my opinion, you have to go to PixInsight ... Meanwhile I'll try 'to get me a filter Idas LPS2. Thanks again for the information that you give me, and useful tips. Bye, see you soon

Damn, this is no longer possible to download the photos, but not for anything else, I wanted to see if I could toglerti the dominant cyan segnandomoìi values, or do the screen shot of the parameters change. I tried for yourself so you do not waste time with unnecessary operations. Another sw simplest is Adobe Lightroom, use the same algorithms of CS for photo editing but it gnawed off, so no cloning nor masks and Smart Objects, and so on, I have an old version 4.4 Pro that I use from time to time .. . palliatives of course, waiting for PI. Wow Wow!

hello Luke, very beautiful, I see significant improvements in your photos, you're getting good, congratulations, I'd succeed ... if only the budget could afford it ..... useful advice Beppe, I draw inspiration from both for my knowledge. Hello :-)

Thank you very much Paul, very kind. I'm a bit better in a branch of photography that I think and 'clearly the most' difficult, you're in the dark, not everything works as it should, heaven and 'always filthy and polluted, make lots of shots to get one and then you compare yourself with post production and that 'different every time, depending on what you have photographed ... But I like it. Follow the advice of Beppe, he has experience, and do so many tests ... Hello and thanks again

Lots of good advice here and well done for trying such a complicated and difficult subject matter - I admire those who push themselves beyond their comfort zone.
