Ogni anno a Canfarano, in Istria, durante la festa di San Giacomo si ripropone la giornata dedicata al manzo istriano Boscarin. Cento anni fa quasi la totalità dell'Istria era terreno coltivato ed arato grazie alla forza di questi mastodontici (raggiungono comodamente i 1200 kg di peso) ma mansueti e nobili animali.Ora che il progresso e la meccanizzazione agricola non lasciano più spazio a questi sistemi di coltivazione, un gruppo di appassionati allevatori cerca di mantenere vivo il ricordo e le tradizioni di una volta cercando di non far estinguere del tutto questa nobile razza bovina e facendoci rivivere momenti che resteranno nei ricordi dei nostri nonni. #BiancoeNero #BlackAndWhite
