As you see there is always something to learn .. to answer your question, you could close to f / 8.0 but I do not think I would have put the dragonfly equally all in focus, macro in the pdc is very low. Definitely maybe it shooting improved a hair, but the ideal would be one of my shift in order to have the camera sensor perfectly parallel with the insect. In that case I would have a nice profile everything in focus. If things are perfected with practice ;-)
