A me i forti contrasti non dispiacciono affatto, soprattutto negli scatti in bianco e nero, anche se nei ritratti rendono le espressioni un po' più "dure".
Forse con meno contrasto avresti ottenuto un ritratto più morbido, ma è solo una questione di gusto.
A me così com'è questo ritratto in b&w piace.

To me the strong contrasts do not mind at all, especially in the shots in black and white, although the expressions in portraits make a bit 'more "harsh".
Perhaps with less contrast'd get a portrait softer, but it's just a matter of taste.
To me this way it is portrayed in b & w like.
