Beautiful shot Simone, in line with your style ;-)
Very nice effect created by the light on the bushes and the sun that emerge from the ridge.
Light and glow in the sky very natural and charming.
A nice example of how we can enhance a point that the most go unnoticed! ;-)

Beautiful I like and I find it full of symbols. Firstly show your love for this Monte and for all who live there, or maybe it would be better to say what is on them. You know also enhance crevices insignificant and all life that inhabits it. Secondly, and here perhaps we're a little 'distant as ideas, the symbolism of the Divine with the Cross that gives off light that gives life and gives splendor even to simple bushes. We often tend to see the big things, flashy, glamorous, beautiful and we are not aware of how many little things there attorniamo and in their simplicity they help us to move forward by giving the best they have. Compliments.

Hello Simon. I write from the cell because both the home PC to the office are to repair. :(
So no emoticons .. But I will try to make me understand the same .. !!
I looked at the photos from the monitor ... Before the hd decided to merge .. And I tell you that I do not like this photo.
Leaving aside the compo it was delicious .. I do not like this photo because it's really sad .. All dark .. But the brown tones ... There is color .. Even the sky is sad .. But it is not your own .. Probably fault is a state of mind .. How often said Riccardo pictures are made by our unconscious .. What drives us to take pictures and to express through shooting what we are experiencing or who have experienced during the photo. That's why this time I will not put my pIACE because I do not like when you're so .. I like it better when the Commissioner is happy as always .. And when this personality comes out of the shots you do only with a sunflower in the middle of nowhere ... but I think this time the Commissioner It was not in the day !!

Now they are dead :-))))

Stylistically, I find it quite similar to yours "Living" and how that image with great impact in my opinion. Compositional and sentimental.
In this shot I find the path of the light touch. As often happens to me, I renew my congratulations to one of the references, alas only theoretical, on this forum.
Bravo Simone

Well, I think that those who had to move past both -D
I thank everyone for expressing a thought on this that personally made me damn because I could not get what I set for myself.
I thought in fairness to receive any comments in most, but not for me to say that beautiful and all, but to have evidence of any of this, to know if the story and purpose of this photo is that during shooting in post are somehow srrivati, but apparently the photos of the Commissioner affect less and less the audience of Juza forum and I'll have to make a reason ;-).

all those speakers (apart Gianluca) have appreciated the same thing, the light on the flowers that create a path to the summit, and I'm happy because it was just what I wanted octeneking.

Giuanluca, quiet, prefer 10,100 comments like yours that the almost total indifference, at least it helps me to understand what feelings arouse my foto.aprreezzo much your analysis, although I do not find in line with your thinking, but I think it really a matter of taste.
the flowers are white and very affected by light grazing and weakened by thin clouds covering the sun, the sky was not colored at the time and what little color bought it because I warmed up a little the WB (small personal license ;-)) Mount Menegosa volcanic ttutto is black and brown and backlit shadows I wanted specially closed to bring out the clumps of flowers so hard in this scene I could, for my character, place or lift color saturation, not the 'I would have considered effective for my photo story.IS
a greeting
Simone

Yes, I agree. Even that is linked on the same line.
But I find that living with us is a continuity of meaning.

The idea of ??the contact I really like, and the composition is good, but there are two things that do not convince me: the sky, you've already told you, of one color "unnatural" for the moment, and the light on the flowers , which I think is really too weak, they do not even seem lit by light, although dim, the sun. I do not think there is much difference in brightness between the flowers and the ground ... maybe, darkening a little latter ..... or getting a little bit more before ... you'll see.
To me this photo he recalled "Light repays the wait", but there the sun is a little higher, and then the light is different.
I, however, will add between friends ;-)

Hello Lorenzo and thanks first for taking some of your time in this photo.

the sky, you've already told you, of one color "unnatural" for the moment

I seek not ever the real situation in my photographs, I try to interpret them in my own way to tell something about trying not to go beyond certain limits so as not to run into forcing little eleganti.credo that despite the color has still retained those limits.

and the light on the flowers, which I think is really too weak, they do not even seem lit by light, albeit faint, of the sun.

Well this time I just can not agree with you, in fact I am surprised that you sincerely doubt.: fconfuso:
the angle and position of tricksto which I took it is raised above the bush first piano.tu see the sun, but the sun shone now nothing more to this part because it was already escaped behind the crinale.sono me that with the post I restored light to those bushes and darkened the rocce.comunque I had other shots with high sun but not yet in contact with the cross but it was very weak and the lighting quite common because of the clouds that filtered rays sole.la star you see is the result of the closure of the aperture and exposure sottoesposta.ti I sent a screenshot of raw so you will realize yourself the real situation of the moment trip and what it has wanted to play in post production.
my goal was to score a bright path with those bushes and force the eye to the cross and to not move them more & ugrave; nailed by the blinding light of the sun.
I hope I gave you good food for thought, I was pleased to talk to you a little of my picture. :-)

image setup very simple and a solid demonstration of how light, with its "brush", has a key role in the success of a photo and to clearly separate a documentary shot by one of considerable appeal. Your skill in postproduction, delicate and natural and that, in my view, is much less than is actually complete the whole.
A greeting. Claudio

Hello Simon,
excellent as always the composition, but there are things that do not convince me ...
First the colors, all very "dull", the light and the illuminated objects are pale, a yellow that does not convince me at all ... The light on the flowers seem very artificial.
I think I know what you had in mind, but I think there has been some error in, definitely not one of your best shots in my ;-)

the yellow I realized that it was better to cool more shadows to create a bit of color detachment.
.... Let me know if you want I can also send you the raw 3 I used if you want to fix it because with the post, as I told you, you're way ahead of me.
hello and thank you again for all your visit

The rays of the sun before going to sleep, wanted to give even a caress in this wonderful mountain, the flowers slowly go off waiting for the new day to return to shine in all its belezza ;-) good night

You have a personal style very nice in the composition of the landscapes; among these groups prefer the ones where you use flowers to create line of force. I do not think you will be surprised. Also splendid contrasts of light, of course. I really like it.

Technique do not understand anything but this I like it so much!
This "light does not light", the design of a safe path to follow or a deceptive appearance that leads you to a point of no return ..
Who knows! In any case in that line of light between the flowers I see its beauty
Intriguing, pleasant and obviously very good!
Good evening, Sonia

You have posted this picture while I was "unable" to receive the telephone D but though I saw it on the phone at 04 at night wow! Wow! while calling at the Arbatax (near the coast the phone takes ;-)). The first impression I got is the same as Gianluca, a something melancholy: having read that you have dedicated to Claudio, I hope it is the hope of light at the top and not the colors of the mountain.
Composition and PP for me very well managed in order to reach the top, good for me the placement of the sun on the cross. :-P Usual perfectionist who managed to find something ... even from little there was.
hello Massimo
