So you made it to Blandford, Tim, and captured a beautiful tranquil scene. Did you spot any kingfishers or otters? |

Thank you Ann. No, I didn't - I wasn't actually looking particularly and the banks are very overgrown right now. It was difficult to see over the top to get this shot! I also only had a couple of hours in BF as the last bus back is 4.45pm. I did get to visit and photograph inside the town's main Parish Church, which has always been closed when I've been. They want some of my photos for their website (apparently). I did also get some Monet style shots of the lily pads on the Stour closer to the bridge, one I may put up on here (one day) |

I've not been inside that church - good that they want to use your photos. I've photographed the lily pads though! I've not yet got to grips with this site to work out what to post and when - is it just any photo anywhen, not just on the day taken? I've just come back from Uganda a week ago and was considering posting some of those images once I've had chance to sort them. |

Thank you Ann. Just got back from Bournemouth, where they had the firework display - and I didn't take a tripod as I had no idea it was on! I rested camera on a groyne for some successful night beach shots, but the fireworks ones weren't. A great sunset too! I was going to ask when or if you were going to post up any images now that you have joined Juza. You get 21 galleries of up to 21 images in each. (I've got full membership which allows MUCH more than this). You can put up any image from any time, when you like. They have to, or should fit into a category (see what those are under 'categories' at the top ) sounds like yours would be Wildlife (other than birds) or 'Travel'. Images have to be jpeg and under 10mb. I tend to restrict my postings to no more than one per day in two or three different categories, though I am so prolific right now, I could put up loads more. It's just that those who I've got to know here now tend not see more than one. BTW, you can 'like' as many as you wish, unlike Blip. I look forward to seeing what you post and will like, if appropriate! I'm about to finally run the Windows 10 upgrade in a few minutes so will have to log off. After Blandford yesterday and the bus running so early, typically, I got off just after Martin Down and walked to Bishopstone, then had to finally, in the dark, get the bus from Quidhampton. Great sunset though, over wheatfields at Stratford Tony. We bury father next Wednesday. And I'm at Ellingham Show tomorrow. |

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to explain it all, Tim. Many of my Uganda shots are portraits as I was involved in life in a slum - a new type of photography for me! It will be a while before I've sorted them properly - I've still got another five to back blip! You sound as if you and your camera are staying very busy! I'll be thinking of you on Wednesday. |

Thank you again Ann. I've just checked to see if you've uploaded any yet, but you haven't. I went to London Saturday instead of that country show - stocking up on urban architectural and practising my street shots. Windows 10 means though that I cannot download any of them! (I was using my SD carded D7000 but my old FX D700,which uses much bigger CF - compact flash - card. So, I cannot even see them properly! I'm sure the gremlins will be rectified, in time, through automatic updates. Thank you again, that is kind. Much appreciated. |

I hope they sort the Windows 10 gremlins out quickly - I think I'll wait a while before venturing in that direction! Just uploaded my first image. |
