In questa estate rovente insieme agli amici del circolo fotografico di cui faccio parte, abbiamo voluto celebrare la città eterna con una notturna no-stop, arrivati a Roma nel tardo pomeriggio con un treno ad alta velocità, ci rechiamo per un primo assaggio al Circo Massimo e al Giardino degli Aranci dove dalla balconata godiamo della magia del tramonto. Pit stop per un'abbondante cena e un pieno di calorie, poi via ha inizio la notturna, Colosseo, Fori Imperiali, Vittoriano, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna, Lungo Tevere, Castel Sant'Angelo e per finire Piazza San Pietro. Con uno scenario storico di questo tenore, cosa si può desiderare di più oltre alla propria reflex e il cavalletto ? nulla, solo che la notte non finisca mai ? Ma invece inesorabilmente a Castel Sant'Angelo ecco il primo accenno di chiarore e poi in San Pietro il nuovo giorno ha definitivamente inizio. Dopo la classica foto di gruppo, via tutti a colazione prima di riprendere il treno e ritornare alle proprie abitudini quotidiane. Indelebile però il ricordo di una bellissima notte passata insieme ad amici che come me amano la fotografia, e manifestano questa loro passione ogni qualvolta le esigenze famigliari lo permettono.
