Nonostante lo sforzo dell'atleta, la foto mostra troppo rosso e giallo in generale, quindi a mio avviso con un buon bilanciamento ne guadagnerebbe non poco, che ne pensi?

In macchina il bilanciamento del bianco in automatico non ti ha aiutato, su Photoshop puoi usare tanti strumenti per bilanciare il bianco come curve, livelli, bilanciamento canale, correzione colore.......in tutti questi strumenti c'è la possibilità di lavorare per singolo canale e cambiarne la percentuale.
In questo caso riducendo il rosso ed il giallo ottieni un risultato più naturale, penso per te la via più semplice sia quella di usare il comando "livelli"
