Riguardo alla tua osservazione, ho composto come "da ispirazione": convengo però che potevo inquadrare un po' più a sinistra il soggetto. In quanto al suo posizionamento verticale invece devo dirti che mi piace così com'è. La poca aria nel primo terzo rende più incombente la sua presenza (è una sentinella) e lascia, IMHO!, che lo sfondo sia ancor più presente. Una spazialità, quella rappresenta dal vuoto dell'ultimo terzo, che vorrebbe richiamare l'inconoscibilità dell'oltre.
Ciò almeno nella mia intenzione.
