Il 12 maggio la Chiesa festeggia S.Pancrazio, uno dei numerosi martiri della persecuzione dell'imperatore Diocleziano, che resse l'impero romano dal 284 al 305. Nella Chiesa antica Pancrazio rappresentò un modello di adolescente che diede la vita per amore del suo Signore, rimanendo fedele al battesimo da poco ricevuto. Era nato nel 289 in Frigia (regione storica dell'attuale Turchia occidentale) da Cleonio e Cerada, entrambi nobili, che professavano la religione pagana, in cui educarono anche il figlio. Pancrazio, rimasto orfano in tenera età, fu affidato alle cure dello zio Dionisio, eletto amministratore dei beni patrimoniali che la famiglia del nipote possedeva in Frigia e a Roma. Zio e nipote si trasferirono ben presto nella città imperiale, dove una comunità cristiana viveva intensamente la fede nel Signore crocefisso e risorto. Dionisio e il giovane Pancrazio vennero a conoscenza della nuova religione e chiesero di farne parte. Il Santuario in stile neogotico, presenta all'interno una maestosa navata, illuminata da finestroni ad arco acuto. L'altare, di graziosa snellezza, termina in una nicchia che racchiude la statua del Santo, vestito da soldato romano, perché ritenuto figlio di un comandante romano. L'altare spicca al centro di un colonnato, disposto a semicerchio che sostiene un'architrave ad archi gotici, sulla cui sommità si ergono i due angeli dorati.
