, Posa B f/4.0, ISO 1600, tripod.

Nebulosa Velo.

But no criticism this is a beautiful object and a field as complicated to shoot, congratulations.

Compared to the other photos you've posted, this is much better, first because it is a weak subject, according to the development, and I see that you've built here shortly .... any extra frames would definitely benefited :-). .. hard times for these sky, the heat causes a pall veiled ubiquitous, and the sudden veils are still there ... Another important thing is to join a group, you learn more about the field with educational books, if you are lucky enough to go out with people experienced good for you, here despite the efforts knocking on doors, continuous solitary arrangiandomi without an experienced guide, and I assure you that it is difficult, above all for those who like me has approached all'astrofilia recently ultra sixty-five ... we are no longer young men with fresh mind, unfortunately: fconfuso:

Hello Beppe, thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately I only built six frames' cause I think I balanced on the evil Star Adventurer entire block of shooting / driving. I was about a 15na frame but I had to throw a lot 'cause or visibly moved or otherwise crawled :-( Heaven where I made the shot was good, the Milky Way could be seen quite well with the naked eye. Even I'm often alone or with people who make me pleased to accompany me, but 'alone is always a bit scared' cause you can not see what he has around ... sometimes are just cows, deer, cats and dogs, but you never know that there are other beasts more 'dangerous!

hehehehe ... yes, sometimes there are unexpected guests, mostly nocturnal predators are birds but I am calm, because where there is the man they are not, if they look good and they stay away .. it aggressive animals that we find difficult ... but they are felt and when it happens I'm like to and I enjoy it, they stop a little and then I hang up I start over again ... keep me company and I do not run the risk of falling asleep from boredom -D: -D

Jonnycorvo hello, if I can express my personal opinion on how to process images: from what I see you do not use Photoshop for final processing, sin because we are already in photoshop actions for denoise less intrusive than those you use with your current program .... a great resolution will immediately notice the background devastated by attempts to reduce the thermal noise, the myriad stars that populate that area, and there are many, as are gone fagogitate action of which I told you just now ..... and for your envi sky background is too black !!
I wouldnt again processing, starting from a premise of using softer and less harsh cleaning actions of the sky background ... for the colors of nebulae're almost in place, one need only turn them on a hair light to detach a little from bottom ...
hello <br />
Ric

Beppe
You say so ', but a few months ago I was a night to do a bit of photos (with poor results) and the week after I read that a bear had attacked and killed in the same area a donkey. For affinity 'with the poor creature I am concerned!

actually I also found that the filter "Herods" Gimp is very invasive but unfortunately and 'the only one for the moment that works decently. With other filters you just get images blurrate without an effective noise removal. I read that photoshop, especially with some plugins commercial is better but unfortunately it 'also very expensive. I bought the book "Practical Guide all'astrofotografia digital" but it 's helpful (for the processing) almost only if you own one of the programs thatexplain. The book disappointed me enough and the guides that I found on the internet are often full of gaps, too complicated or too specific for Photoshop ...

sorry but even krackato get to have Photshop? although not the final version does not matter, it would be enough even CS4 for example !!! and from there you can have some tool for removing denoise ... if you want I'll send I one that in addition to having the removal of deoise at various levels type deep space or luma and color also has deglle other actions preinstalled that serve to eliminate the horizontal banding and vertical ones, annoying halos around stars etc ....
that "Herods" Gimp will ruin all the photos effectively deletes all the stars, I saw that all your photos are afflicted by this gap !!!!
let me know if you are interested in the tool ;-)
