In effetti di tratta di una grossa falena, la Samia Cynthia comunemente nota come Bombice dell'ailanto dal nome della sua pianta nutrice. Importata dalla Cina per produrre seta si è ambientata anche da noi e non è raro vederla allo stato libero e naturale come penso sia capitato a te. Complimenti per la bellissima cattura.

In effect this is a big moth, the moth Samia Cynthia commonly known as dell'ailanto the name of his nurse plant. Imported from China to produce silk was also set by us and it is not uncommon to see it in the wild and natural as I think it happened to you. Congratulations for the wonderful catch.

Grazie del passaggio e della spiegazione, non pensavo potesse essere una farfalla "nobile", la immaginavo come una qualsiasi falena notturna rimasta scombussolata di suo, infatti era attaccata al muro e non si muoveva, ogni tanto apriva le ali e basta.
