lista delle prede da analisi borre:
40%roditori vari,principalmente rattus norvegicus
30% columbiformi e corvidi,sopratutto cornacchie che non saranno felici di avere un vicino del genere
20% lepri,ricci ed altri mammiferi fra cui due volpi giovani ed alcuni mustelidi
10% altri volatili con buona presenza di nibbi bruni,poiane ed anche altri rapaci notturni.pochi uccelli di interesse cinegetico tipo i fagiani che pure sono abbondanti in zona
questo dimostra che il gufo reale è in grado di controllare fortemente i "nocivi" (roditori e corvidi) adattandosi alle prede + comuni in zona. che è poco dannoso alla caccia.e dimostra che esercita un forte pressione su altri predatori tenendone sotto controllo il numero
List of prey from analysis wads:

Davide,i rapaci diurni (eccetto le grandi aquile) sono indifesi durante la notte da questo predatore. non riescono a fuggire facilmente ed anche una femmina di astore (ben + forte di una poiana) pesa 1kg. le femmine di gufo reale adulte vanno da 2.7 a 4kg(nord europa) e se guardi gli artigli delle mie precedenti foto capisci che si scherza poco.
inoltre il gufo reale e l'aquila reale hanno anche un istinto di superpredatore molto spinto. eliminando gli altri predatori avranno + cibo per loro. ho letto che c'è un progetto di reintroduzione in puglia ma hanno grossi dubbi perchè le
pareti dove i gufi andrebbero a nidificare sono oggi occupate da lanari e pellegrini che avrebbero due sole possibilità
1-scappare ,2-finire nel menù del gufo....
David, birds of prey (except the great eagles) are helpless during the night by this predator. they can not easily escape and also a female goshawk (well + stronger than a buzzard) weighs 1kg. the female eagle owl adults range from 2.7 to 4 kg (northern Europe) and if you look at the claws of my previous photo you see that little mess.
also eagle owls and golden eagles also a super-predator instinct very thorough. eliminating other predators will + food for them. I read that there is a reintroduction project in Puglia but have serious doubts because the
walls where the owls would go to nest are now occupied by lanari and pilgrims have two possibilities

In effetti i rapporti di forza son quelli...mi piacerebbe davvero vederne uno, sembrava fosse presente dalle mie parti nelle valli di Lanzo ma non ho mai sentito di avvistamenti certi, ad agosto che rientro per un po vado a dare una controllata...non si sa mai

purtroppo ne troverai molti presso i falconieri.uno dei motivi di rarefazione della specie appunto il furto dei pulli.
per poi cosa?? per farlo vedere agli uomini di giorno?? mah almeno organizzassero spettacoli in notturna....

effettivamente...la foto ha avuto bisogno di una grossa schiarita ,i soggetti erano infrattati e lontani.
il fuoco non è "effettivo" anche perchè mi sono arrampicato,ho scattato al volo e mi sono allontanato in 30 secondi.
nonostante fossi sul costone opposto il rischio di creare disturbo era troppo alto e quindi c'è da accontentarsi.
ho tolto l'HD perchè era peggio che meglio...comunque ho postato la foto più per interesse naturalistico che per
altro.

actually ... the photo needed a big cloudy, subjects were infrattati and far.
the focus is not "real" also because I climbed, I took the flight and I have moved away in 30 seconds.
although I was on the ridge opposite the risk of creating noise it was too high and therefore need to be satisfied.
I removed the HD because it was worse than better ... but I posted the photo for more naturalistic than for
another.

La cosa piu' bella è poterli seguire,la superfoto passa in secondo piano...Leggevo qua' e la' che addirittura in certe zone d'italia alcuni gufi reali si erano specializzati nella cattura del pesce nei torrenti,un animale veramente interessante,peccato che non sia facile individuarlo.Complimenti anche per il tuo comportamento nei riguardi di questo soggetto!!Ciao!!

in effetti sono stati visti gufi reali rubare la preda ai falchi pescatori (nord europa) ed anche da noi alcuni esemplari in trentino frequentano impianti di piscicultura predando le trote.sicuramente è un predatore estremamente adattabile .
