In una simile foto credo l'ombra dovrebbe essere se non annullata almeno molto mitigata e questo lo si può ottenere avendo a disposizione un set di luci oppure illuminando lo sfondo con un flash. Inevitabile che quanto scritto rientra nei gusti personali e non nelle regole.
Trovo ben fotografato il soggetto con una buona nitidezza, avrei solo cercato di mantenere i petali leggermente più lontani rispetto ai bordi.
