Il Thistlegorm, lungo 131 metri per una larghezza di 17,5 metri e una stazza di 9.009 tonnellate, uno dei più famosi relitti al mondo. Una Nave mercantile Britannica che nel 1941 doveva rifornire le truppe dell'esercito inglese, impegnate nella campagna del Nord Africa; A causa della guerra, venne armato con un cannone da 4,7 pollici, una mitragliera antiaerea su torretta e una mitragliera pesante mobile. All'ancora nello stretto di Gobal, all'una e trenta del mattino del 6 ottobre 1941, venne inesorabilmente colpita e affondata dalla seconda squadriglia aerea del 26° Kamp Geswader di stanza a Creta che colpì la stiva numero 4 piena di munizioni causandone l'esplosione ed il relativo affondamento. Anche se in questi anni è stata predata in molte delle sue parti, rimane sempre una delle immersioni più affascinanti di tutto il Mar Rosso.
